Zammad is a free helpdesk or issue tracking system. It offers the connection of various channels like email, chat, telephone, Twitter, or Facebook. Zammad is developed in the programming languages Ruby and JavaScript. The name Zammad comes from the Bavarian language and means "together".

The following support options are available.
EuroBytes
The EuroBytes Support contains only the platform service and does not include support from the application developers.
EuroBytes will support the latest version of this application, to the best of our ability. Here are some of the following ways the Passbolt app will be supported:
- Updates: As long as the application has updates, those updates will be available to upgrade to.
- Security: With the basic application protection addon, your application will be safe from the most common and basic attacks.
- Backup: The default Backup addon will make sure there is a backup made every 24 hours, those backups will be kept for three days. Within those three days you can request a restoration of the backup
- Monitoring: The default monitoring addon will monitor your application's server and notify the admin every time the system gets to high in load. With this comes also advice on how to proceed.
- Maintenance: Server updates, security configuration
With all of the above, comes a price of € 100 p/m

Addons
The defaults addons are enabled when installed.
Hardware level: According to the Hardware prerequisites, a minimum of 8 GB RAM is needed to run elasticsearch. Elasticsearch is a dependency of Zammad.
With this in mind, the only hardware level that meets the minimal RAM requirements, is hardware level 3.
During testing, 2 GB seems to work, however the memory was almost 90% all the time. When dealing with high volume visitors, and or tickets, the server might not be responsive, so 8 G is the absolute minimum.
