EuroBytes EU — Managed Application Hosting
Version: 1.1 (draft for review)
Effective date: 5 November 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to the hosting services, servers, networks, platforms, and related services that EuroBytes EU ("EuroBytes," "we," or "us") provides to you ("Customer" or "you"), as identified in your order or service agreement (the "Services"). It applies to your employees, contractors, authorized users, resellers, and anyone who accesses or uses the Services through your account. You are responsible for their use of the Services.
This AUP is intended to protect customers and third parties, maintain the availability and security of the Services, and prevent unlawful activity and abuse of EuroBytes infrastructure. It supplements the applicable service agreement, terms, privacy notice, and data-processing agreement. If requirements conflict, the applicable agreement will determine which applies.
Questions about this AUP may be sent to abuse@eurobytes.eu. Reports of suspected abuse or security issues should use the contacts in Section 8.
You may use the Services only for lawful business or personal purposes. You must comply with applicable laws and regulations, respect the rights of others, and use the Services in a way that does not compromise their security, stability, or availability for other customers.
You are responsible for content you host, data you store, applications you run, and activity carried out through your accounts or applications. You must ensure that users of your hosted applications follow this AUP and applicable law.
This AUP applies to the Services identified in your order or service agreement. Depending on what you have ordered, these may include managed application hosting, virtual or bare-metal servers, hosted applications, email, storage, monitoring, backup, or enterprise hosting. Additional service-specific terms may apply. A product offered in the future is covered only when it is included in your order or service agreement.
You must not use, or allow another person to use, the Services to host, store, transmit, link to, or distribute content or conduct that violates this AUP or applicable law.
You must not use the Services for content that:
You must not use the Services to create, obtain, store, distribute, or facilitate child sexual abuse material or other content or activity that sexually exploits or abuses minors, or to groom or traffic minors. Where required or permitted by law, EuroBytes may preserve relevant information and report suspected material or activity to the appropriate authorities. EuroBytes may restrict or suspend access immediately where reasonably necessary to protect a person, comply with law, or prevent further distribution. No advance warning is required in those circumstances.
You must not use the Services to distribute unauthorized copies of software or media, circumvent licensing controls, counterfeit goods, or misuse another party's trademarks. EuroBytes may review and act on sufficiently detailed rights complaints under Section 7.
You must not, and must not allow others to:
You must not attempt to access the EuroBytes platform, another customer's environment, or an external system without authorization. You must not probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities in systems you do not own or have written permission to test.
You may test an application or system that you control, provided the test does not affect EuroBytes infrastructure, other customers, or third-party systems. Before conducting testing that could affect EuroBytes infrastructure or shared services, obtain written authorization from EuroBytes and follow any scope and timing conditions it provides.
You must not use the Services to create, store, transmit, or distribute malware or malicious code, including ransomware, spyware, worms, trojans, keyloggers, or software designed to compromise third-party systems or data. You must not knowingly operate a compromised system in a way that harms others.
If a system is compromised or is being used to cause harm, EuroBytes may isolate or restrict it immediately to protect the Services and other parties. We will notify you where reasonably practicable and provide information about steps needed to restore service. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination under Section 9.
If your subscription includes email or messaging functionality, you must not use it to:
You must configure and operate mail services responsibly, including maintaining valid SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records where applicable; honoring bounce, unsubscribe, and suppression requests; and complying with applicable privacy and electronic-marketing laws. You must follow service-specific sending limits. If a sending IP or domain is listed on a public spam blocklist, EuroBytes may restrict outbound email while the issue is investigated and resolved. Repeated or serious abuse may result in permanent suspension of email functionality or termination under Section 9.
Some Services use shared infrastructure. EuroBytes may review resource use when it materially affects service availability, security, or other customers. Where practicable, we will explain the issue and give you an opportunity to reduce use, optimize your application, or move to a suitable service level.
If immediate action is needed to protect the Services, EuroBytes may apply temporary throttling, limits, or isolation. Any service-specific limits and charges are set out in the applicable order or service terms. You may contact support@eurobytes.eu to discuss a resource restriction or proposed upgrade.
EuroBytes manages the hosting platform and the components of the application environment included in your service. You remain responsible for the content and data you put into your application and for application-level settings and users, except to the extent your service agreement expressly assigns a task to EuroBytes.
You are responsible for:
